    This is an exciting time to join PanAust and our subsidiary company, Phu Bia Mining in Laos. Our Phu Kham Copper-Gold Operation and our Ban Houayxai Gold-Silver Operation in Laos are both delivering strong production and cost performances and are targeted to reach peak production over the next few years. In addition, the PanAust Group is progressing well in its Stage 1 Feasibility Study of the newly acquired Frieda River Copper Project in PNG

Site-based employees work a roster of 20 days on, 8 days off or 14 days on, 7 days off for shift work, while Vientiane – based employees work 5 days per week with 2 days off.

    This position is based at Mobile Maintenance Department. Reporting to the Administrative Supervisor, you will play a key role in providing and supporting all mobile maintenance administrative tasks day by day. So, you will be responsible for providing a high level of service and interaction with all mobile maintenance employees. Manage other activities as requested from the senior management team.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Comply with all safety rules / standards set out by Phu Bia Mining
    • Report all accidents / near misses / security issues to your superior as soon as possible
    • Actively involve yourself in all training supplied by the Phu Bia Mining ensuring you fully apply yourself
    • Mentor all junior staff providing on the job training and ensure their participation in training
    • Carry out all mobile maintenance employee administration activities as per company procedures, standards and policies
    • Carry out all mobile maintenance task document administration activities as per company procedures, standards and policies ensuring records are available for auditing
    • Report personal or any observed mobile maintenance employee issues to your superior as soon as possible
    • Always ask questions if you do not understand any given task
    • Identify and seek mobile maintenance admin task improvement opportunities
    • Carry out any administrative support tasks as requested by your superior in an accurate and timely manner

    To be successful in this role, you will require:

    • Higher diploma or equivalent required
    • Degree in Business Administration, International Relation or related field
    • Must have previous working experience in administration or administrator role
    • Excellent communication skills, fluent in written and verbal in both English and Lao
    • Proficient in the use of computers
    • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
    • Good management
    • Superb organizational skills
